Learn more about the unique way of life of the Amish and Mennonites.

Almost everyone who works at the Mennonite Information Center has a “plain people” heritage, as do the people who lead our guided tours.

See, hear, and taste the best of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on one of our personalized guided tours.

We also offer a free short film titled “We Believe” that explains the Mennonites’ origin, faith, life, and relationship to the Amish. The “Lancaster Amish” movie, which requires tickets, offers a first-hand look into the Amish, their faith, and life. You will also find walk-through exhibits, a well-stocked bookstore, and fair trade crafts from Ten Thousand Villages.
